What happened in 2007 ?

StayNomad is born in 2007 and creates a Web presence in autumn. The social character and responsible vision of StayNomad rapidly brings solid partnerships. Several travels and the attendance of numerous events allow for the creation of a strong network in over 40 countries. And even though the construction of our website takes slightly longer than predicted, StayNomad advances determined to go online in the first quarter of 2008 to become a leading Web destination.

Colombia is passion !

In November, the 17h General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization took place in Carthagena, Colombia.  The goal of this assembly was to speak about sustainable tourism, the management of natural and cultural heritage, the fight against poverty and climate change. StayNomad was there, in Colombia.

Discovery of a new destination!
“Had we not been invited, we might have never gone there. Now that we have been there, all we want is to go there again.” Colombia has a competitive tourism offer which is often ignored by travelers who know nothing but the damaged image of this country.

However, it is possible to perceive Colombia differently. Let’s start with the friendly people with that spark in their eyes, always throwing you their smiles. And then there are the cities, like Carthagena, with their warm colors and lively rhythm. Whether we are at the beach of the Caribbean Islands of San Andres and Providencia or on top of the mountains surrounding Bogota, we find that Colombia is a well kept tourism secret.
