The Amsterdam Dakar Challenge is an annual event where people drive their under-500-euro car from Amsterdam, 7000 kilometers through Europe and the Sahara desert to Dakar, the capital of Senegal in Africa. Along the way, and while preparing for this endurance event, all teams (this year 20 in total) gather money and raise awareness for the good causes the teams support.
